Job description

Our VFX team is made up of versatile independent thinkers who don’t just want to be just a cog in a machine. They have strong creative and technical input and are passionate about CG, compositing, and challenges they’ve never met before. Their talents and enthusiasm suit them to a wide range of projects from dramatic photorealism to esoteric creative concepts. The VFX Supervisor role will often handle shots or sequences solo or in a small team and supervise other artists.

Requirements

We’re looking for a superstar with the following skills:

  • Considerable experience with compositing and CG, especially Nuke and Maya
  • Experience working on varied large-scale projects including high-end TV, in varied or generalist roles
  • Confident in on-set VFX supervision
  • Solid understanding the VFX pipeline from photography, through match-move and prep to CG and final delivery
  • Ability to give and take direction and structure working practice so that changes can be efficiently made
  • Experience working with clients and producers to scope projects, VFX bids and proposals
  • Excellent communication skills and the knowledge/confidence to liaise with senior clients at an appropriate level
  • Confident in managing a team of artists and possess a desire to share knowledge and experience with others
  • Ability to self-critique
  • Strong showreel and references essential
